Gadget Review: ASUS ZenFone 2 Laser - 5 inch vs 5.5 inch vs 6 inch

Hello everyone!

So you've read about my first post on ASUS ZenFone 2 Laser which I have posted a week ago.

Specifically, I wrote about its 13 megapixel resolution, f/2.0 aperture, auto-focus and auto-brightening features that have contributed to quick and sharp images.

This time, I'm back to share more about this phone and to introduce some of its other noteworthy features that I really like.

One of the features that I was thankful for was Asus' Corning Gorilla Glass 4, a glass exterior that protects the surface of the phone. This glass exterior has double the drop-damage resistance of its predecessor and is less likely to break if you drop your phone. Not that I have ever dropped this precious loaned phone; but I must say that it's awesome news for clumsies like me who drop phones on a frequent basis.

Besides having a hardy cover, the glass exterior is also scratch-resistant so if you have long fingernails, fret not. Mummies with kids who love to scratch their belongings, you have nothing to worry anymore!

I took the picture of the fireworks during a Light and Pyromusical Show at The Float not too long ago and was marveled by how sharp and detailed the image looked on the screen.

This was made possible thanks to ZenFone 2 Laser's 1280 x 720 HD IPS display which allows the user to experience a wide 178-degree viewing angle, making sure to capture every detail of the scene within the screen. This is another reason why I prefer phones with wide and clear screens. They make photo-viewing and youtube-watching very comfortable for the eyes.

I need to raaaaaaaave about the phone's superb battery performance too. After using the phone the entire day to snap photos during 3 consecutive events, the phone was still performing very well, with a battery life of more than 50% towards the night. When I charged the phone by plugging it into my laptop, it sprung from 50% to 90% in a jiffy. This feature is no doubt my favourite one because I'm out and about all the time and I'm highly dependent on my phone. I'll need a phone that can survive my high usage and this phone proves to have a long battery lifespan and an immensely quick charging speed. Thumbs up!

Before you go 'Ooooh I want my own ZenFone 2 Laser now!', do you know that there are several models of Asus ZenFone 2 Lasers in the market?

Apparently, we have the 5 inch version, the 5.5 inch version and the 6 inch version. To prevent confusion, I have drawn out a table to compare these 3 models so here goes:

Event: Passhen Beauty Week - Yoga Fitness with Strala Yoga

Hey everyone!

Two Fridays ago, I ended an immensely stressful and rushed day at work with an energizing yoga session at Strala Yoga.

This yoga session was my 3rd and last workshop for Passhen Beauty Week and it was definitely a much needed one.

Strala Yoga was located at a quiet corner of Armenian Street and it occupied 2 storeys.

Our yoga session was held at the 2nd storey and we had to remove our shoes at the bottom of the staircase before climbing up. It's our stairway to a more flexible body like that lady in the poster.

I was early so I went around the school snapping test shots with my Asus ZenFone 2 Laser.

Prior to our yoga session, there was a talk by HAACH Singapore on pre and post workout skincare.

We were basically taught to remove our makeup and cleanse our skin thoroughly before engaging in any workout because makeup doesn't give our skin breathing space and can eventually clog pores. After a workout, we should also cleanse our face and moisturize our skin to prevent dryness.

HAACH highly recommended their Face Clarix, an electrical facial brush that will help to exfoliate and deep cleanse your skin.

Being small and lightweight, it makes carrying around very convenient and can be brought along when you travel.

After the talk, yoga instructor Sue brought us through a 1 hour session of Energize Yoga.

It was quite intense with the multiple downward dogs, leg raises, backbends and flexiblity poses that proved to be quite challenging for an inflexible person like me.

My body must have been too stiff from sitting at the computer all day because I actually heard a couple of cracks in the middle of my poses.

Nonetheless, 'cracking it all out' was good for me too because my body no longer felt so tense after the session. I also felt more alert and significantly happier. It must be all the endorphines released during exercise!

This entry marks my last post for Passhen Beauty Week so thank you readers for following my entries. You can sign up for a Passhen account to register for yoga classes and enjoy a discounted rate of $22 per class instead of the usual price of $25.

Many thanks to Melissa for organizing these fun and meaningful workshops! :)
