Services Review: Christmas Eve Foot Massage @ Le Spa

Merry Christmas, my friends!

I hope everyone's enjoying their long weekend so far. I've had a busy work week so I'm gonna be resting as much as possible during my long weekend.

Yesterday, I visited Le Spa's new outlet at River Valley after work.

For those who are unfamiliar with Le Spa, it is an oriental spa that provides largely massage services and it is open 24 hours a day. This means you can visit Le Spa at any time and any day to get your massage fix.

Le Spa isn't new to me and I've previously featured it on my blog here.

I missed the opening of Le Spa's new outlet more than a month ago but Rachel was very nice to help me arrange a personal visit at my own time and convenience. Thus, I decided to visit the spa on Christmas eve! :)

Many of the customers go to Le Spa for body massages and according to my blogger friends, their massages were comfortable and relaxing.

I am intensely fearful of body massages so for both my visits to Le Spa, I would opt for their Taiwanese Foot Massage (1.5 hr session) that is worth $72 per session.

Customers are required to change into the slippers provided by the spa before their massages.

The ultra comfortable, plush seat that I was lying on to enjoy my foot massage.

The long passageway of massage rooms that leads to another passageway of rooms.

It was very quiet in there, thereby making the environment very conducive for sleeping.

Got my feet soaked in warm water before scrubbing them clean.

This was my second time doing a foot massage at Le Spa and somehow, I felt that it was far more comfortable than my first experience (or it could be that I was getting used to foot massages).

This was one of the few photos I have taken during the sesison because after that, I kind of... dozed off. I expected it to be painful or ticklish but it was tolerable for me and very, very therapeutic.

Ideally, I wished I had gone for a foot massage when my legs were tired from fitness or from walking too much because that would really soothe those aching spots.

Woke up when the masseur wrapped a hot towel around my feet and I told her that it was too hot for my liking.

She proceeded to release her grip on my feet and remove the towel for a while so that my feet could 'cool down'. HA HA.

When my session ended, I was served a nice, warm cup of ginger tea. I left the session feeling rejuvenated from the massage and the good sleep.

Thank you Le Spa for the awesome service!
