It's the weekend again but a less relaxing one for me this time as I'm preparing for a big presentation early next week. Just can't wait for it to be over so I can go back to occupying my time with fun-filled events again.
Speaking of events, 24 March marked the launch of Uniqlo's Liberty London for UNIQLO Collection and as the name suggests, it's a fashion collaboration between British Brand Liberty London and Japanese Brand Uniqlo.
Floral fashion has never gone out of style and it's generally appealing to people. For this collection, floral prints from Liberty London were fused with a variety of Uniqlo items, giving rise to the fashionwear that you see in the picture above.
I was invited to attend the collection preview at ION Sky.
It might be a short event considering that it was 'own time own target' but it was also an eye-opener.

Was at the event with Pearly (again!) and we bumped into Cynthia whom I haven't seen for a long time!
Children's wear in lovely pastel colours. There are 6 kids products in the collection altogether.
I adore the floral-printed tops but alas, they were only big enough for children. Won't it be great if we have the same prints in adult size?
Floral-printed apparel for the adults. There are 11 Women's products and 2 Men's products altogether.
It's great that the floral prints are rather subtle on a guy shirt or else it will end up looking like some attention-seeking Hawaiian shirt instead.
I can't pull off floral-printed shorts but I think they make great and comfy loungewear, don't you think?
Mega love for the vibrant floral tops and chic purses!
I'm not big on the floral shoes but I really love the bag over there. Makes for a fun bag to carry during casual outings.

Another photo with the girls! Actually, the event photographer asked us to take this. :P
There were some fringe activities going on so we decided to check them out.
Pearly and I had personalized badges in coincidentally the same style.
We were given pretty photo cards as momentos and I've kept them in my handphone case since then.
On one of the cards was this picture which we took with the models who were clad in Liberty London for UNIQLO fashion.
I love this picture a lot - the models looked perfect and I felt like I was taking photos in a Madame Tussauds Museum.
Live colouring of floral postcards - such artistic flair!
And since we were 56 levels above Orchard Road, may I interest you in the amazing view of busy Orchard Road from up there? I think the view will look immensely better at night.
Thank you Word of Mouth Communications as well as Uniqlo SG for having us. I'll be checking out and trying on the collection in stores soon!
Liberty London for UNIQLO Collection will be available at all Uniqlo stores but the full collection can be found at Bugis+, Jem, Parkway Parade and Suntec City. Prices will range from $12.90 to $59.90.
You can view the full collection in this link.
