Movie Review: Mother's Day

Mother's Day is this Sunday and it's so timely that the movie, Mother's Day was released in the cinemas yesterday.

Caught the movie preview 2 days back, thanks to MovieXclusive and I was really entertained by this family comedy. Also very surprised to see many big names in there!

This movie revolves around 4 mummy-related stories that depict the challenges and sacrifices faced for motherhood.

Jennifer Aniston acts as a single mother who has to share her kids with her ex-husband (whom remarried a younger lady). Julia Roberts stars as a career-oriented lady who is too busy to care about having children. On the top right of the poster is Jesse, acted by Kate Hudson who secretly has a family without telling her parents. And the guy in the poster is Mr Mummy who has to look after his daughters after his wife passed away.

Among the stories, I would say that the most touching one would be Julia Robert's persona of the career-minded woman with no time and energy for children.

However, Jennifer Aniston's role as Sandy, an uber stressed mother really cracked me up. She's always getting herself caught in awkward situations.

When Mr Mummy meets Single Mummy. I think they're actually really compatible and should get together already!

Anyway, do check out the trailer below. I actually watched the trailer before going for the preview so that I know what to expect from the storyline.

If you're looking for a movie that is light-hearted and funny, Mother's Day is worth the watch. You might even want to catch the movie with your family and loved ones during Mother's Day itself. :D

Goodnight all!
